Term 3, Week 10

Our Performance

Last week the Junior School geared up for their big performance! It was about a little girl named Lily (Lily C from Room 11) who had to think of a story to write about at school while riding on the bus one morning. The problem was that NOTHING exciting ever happened to her! Or so she thought... Next thing a group of dancers performing a Maori Haka dance jump on the bus! Lily still didn't know what to write about even though she met some Cavemen, Irish dancers, Pirates, Trolls and alien catching Men in Black, along her journey to school! It was a wild ride on the school bus that day and all of the Junior School children performed their dances and song to their best. 

Miss Smith was incredibly proud of her Room 8 students and how they got up in front of the big audience with smiles on their dials. Room 8 would also like to thank all of the parents and whanau that came out for the afternoon to watch our presentation - your support was appreciated!
